Cosmos Hub (ATOM) is the native token of the Cosmos Hub, the first chain in the Cosmos "Internet of Blockchains" ecosystem, launched in 2019. Cosmos provides the IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) standard that lets independent app-chains communicate and transfer assets, with the Cosmos Hub acting as one coordinating hub.
